Heather Sproule has dedicated her career  to the protection and well being of children and youth throughout Canada. She has worked in the fields of education, child protection, children’s mental health and primary prevention. Over the past 20 years, Heather has served as the Founding Executive Director of Kids Help Phone, the National Executive Director of Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada and the first President, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Toronto. She joined Central  Toronto Youth Services in April of 2007.

Joan Marshall joined Central Toronto Youth Services in September 2003 as the director responsible for finance, administration and human resources. Joan is a Certified General Accountant and also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) degree from Carleton University. Prior to joining CTYS, Joan was the Accounting Manager at the Canadian Diabetes Association. She also has several years experience in the private sector working in the computer and advertising industries. After graduation from Carleton, Joan spent four years working for the Children’s Aid Society as a social worker. Her unique background as both a social worker and an accountant and allows her a good understanding of our agency and an ability to make a valuable contribution to the management team.
