Gender Play is a unique program for lesbian, gay, bisexual, intersex, transgender, transsexual and questioning youth interested in exploring the complexities of gender and gender identity through art. The program, which runs once a year, evolves from group exploration of the issues to participants writing and staging a public performance that encompasses visual art, theatre, music, poetry and dance. Guest artists from the community support and offer input to participants as they embark on a journey to examine many questions concerning gender and identity.
